“When we decided to organise a “Manufacturing for competitiveness” road show, it was only natural that Expomobil was one of the companies we contacted when inviting tenders for a trailer. We chose Expomobil for their extensive know-how and creativity both with the design and the interior fittings and furnishings of a trailer. Our experience of working with Expomobil in the past has been good and we have not had cause to change our minds during the first 12 months of the road show. We also asked Expomobil to produce interior fittings etc. based on design sketches from our partner, Staffan Ehde of Metaformedia. Despite a tight schedule, production went smoothly and was completed on schedule. Expomobil’s know-how and experience also proved invaluable in improving and simplifying certain parts of the design to better meet our needs. Although we chose not to outsource the road show planning, bookings and logistics to Expomobil, they did provide many very valuable tips and ideas which made our work with the project much easier. Our road show is scheduled to last three years, during which time we expect to call on Expomobil frequently for help with improvements and the possible development of fittings and materials.”
