Assa is Sweden’s leading supplier of lock and security solutions to professional security companies and private householders. Assa designs, manufactures and markets lock and security solutions for doors, windows and safes.

The 2005 Assa Road Show was organised in two parts using an Expomobil 60. The first part comprised a five-week tour of Sweden from north to south, with the aim of meeting customers and local specifiers, and of supporting local retailers. The show trailer stopped at Scandic Hotels and visitors were invited to learn more about the company’s latest products and technologies and to see complete security solutions close up. Seminars held in the hotels’ conference facilities were an important complement to the exhibition.

Part two was a whistle-stop tour of the Baltic region, targeting the security industry and householders.

The second part featured a slightly different, more consumer oriented message, and rather than hotels the trailer visited town centres and shopping precincts. A marquee for special guests was also added. The ASSA road show proved very newsworthy in the Baltic countries with plenty of TV, radio and press coverage.
