Cecilia Bartoli 2007 – tour to celebrate Maria Malibran

When the world-famous Italian opera singer Cecilia Bartoli went on her tour of Europe, she wanted to do something extra. An Expombil 60 B accompanied her and was set up outside the concert halls in which she performed. It was not only an exhibition hall for the general public but also somewhere where Cecilia Bartoli could meet the media, give interviews and receive VIP guests after her concerts, in her own surroundings. The exhibition received the “International Forum Design Award for Product Design 2008”.

“With an Expomobil the tour has generated more interest than we could imagine; we had 40 000 visitors during the first four months. The project is unique, never before has an opera singer travelled over 24 000 kilometres throughout Europe with an enormous articulated lorry", says Cecilia Bartoli’s manager Markus Wyler
